but the latest fiasco around obama’s borrowing of some of his speeches from massachusetts governor deval patrick, is something that cannot be ignored…

and here is how the obama camp tries to play it down:
obama camp’s main claim is that obama had patrick’s permission to use his words. if that is so, then he should have disclosed that during his speech and not tried to freeride the rhetoric… is this the change america wants?
disclaimer: i am not american, but turkish-canadian. my thoughts on american politics have no practical purpose and are a complete outsider’s view. basically they don’t really matter. i tend to focus on american politics mostly because turkish politics are too depressing and canadian politics are too boring… if this post bothers you, just hit the big X on the top right corner of your browser window ;) peace.
